Your website address is your Internet identity such as www.yourbusiness.com.
We will submit the forms to our registrar (the agency that manages the assignment of domain names) for you, if you prefer. If your name is available, your domain name will be functional within 48 hours. (more details). |
| Domain Name Registration |
| We do not charge a fee for filing the proper domain registration forms with our registrar. However, our registrar charges $20 per year for domain name ownership for each new domain name and requires you to pay for one year in advance when you register your domain. This registration fee is separate from our hosting service fees. (more details). |
| Domain Name Transfer |

We do not charge a transfer fee to transfer your domain name to our registrar, nor is it required.
Our registrar does not charge for moving your domain name to or from our registrar. However, you are required to keep your domain name ownership fees paid to date with any registrar. |
| Website Hosting Transfer |
|
We do not charge a website hosting transfer fee to transfer your website hosting to our services. Website hosting transfer requires that you maintenance your domain name server ip addresses to point to our web servers. We will file the domain maintenance request for you, if you prefer.
If we manage your website, we may charge a one-time fee to proof your pages for errors and improve the appearance, prepare your pages for maximum search engine results, move your files to our server, submit your pages to the major search engines, and create banners and hypertext links to promote your website on our website. (more details). If we manage your website, we may charge an additional one-time fee when your pages are created in Frontpage or the like to remove all extensions and unnecessary code and files. (more details). |
| Disk Space |
| When you sign up with us, you are basically leasing hard disk space on our web server (with an option to include website management, promotion and Internet support). The disk space is used to store all of your website files. Most companies use under 1/2 mb of disk storage (not 1, 5, 10, 20, 30mb or more) -- our website is huge and uses only 9/10 of 1 mb. We give you as much disk space as you need when we manage your website since we know how much space you are using and how it is used (or 100mb). When we manage your website, we have no reason to limit your disk space usage since you have no access to use the space for mischievous reasons. You save money because we are not charging you for huge amounts of disk space and other features you will never use! We make money because we have more space to lease! |
| Data Transfer |
| Data transfer is the amount of data transferred (outbound traffic) to visitors as they view your web pages. Most companies experience up to 2000 mb/month of data transfer. Most other hosting companies charge extra hosting fees when your account exceeds these limits. When we manage your website, we do not monitor or limit your data transfer (or 8000 mb/month). Since you have no access to our server, we know that all of your data transfer is all legitimate traffic. We want your website to experience as much legitimate traffic as possible! We direct traffic to your site through search engine submissions and banner advertisement. |
| 5 POP3 Email Addresses |
|
Each website account includes 10 POP3 email addresses (anything@yourname.com), unlimited aliases and an email catch-all. You can check your email using any pop compliant email client or web based email account from anywhere in the world. The only known non-compliant email client is AOL. Additional POP3 email accounts are available for a reasonable fee. Each including an email autoresponder and forwarding. |
| Catch-All Email Address |
| Each website account includes an email catch-all. Example: someone emails your domain using an address that doesn't exist or is not spelled correctly? Not to worry. With the catch-all email feature, anything that is emailed to your domain name is automatically collected or forwarded to an email address that you specify. |
| Email Forwarding |
| Each website account includes email forwarding. Maybe you have a large number of email addresses and do not want to check all of them separately. With the email forwarding feature, you can forward all or some of your incoming email to any one or several email addresses that you specify. This is similar to forwarding for your phone calls. |
| Email Autoresponder |
| Each website account includes 10 email autoresponders (one for each pop email account). An autoresponder is a specific email address that has up to two functions. First, any user sending an email to that address will receive an automatic response of your choice. Second, the original incoming message can be forwarded to another specified email address. There is no limit on the size of the automatic response. |
| Frontpage 2000/02 Extensions |

FrontPage is supported and included, if needed. Our servers are FrontPage 2000 ready and capable on demand.
We do not recommend or support client-side Frontpage software whatsoever. You will have to contact Bill Gates for Microsoft problems. We do support server-side Frontpage -- meaning any problems directly related to our FrontPage enabled servers. We recommend you use any other html code generator other than FrontPage if you wish to experience no publishing problems with your website. Warnings: FrontPage generated pages create unnecessary files and extension that require more disk space and much difficulty in troubleshooting problems and errors. Frontpage does not completely disable regular cgi access, but there will be a few scripts that will not work properly while it is in use. If you have an option, we highly recommend you not experiment or use FrontPage. The extensions are easily damaged moving the files and many users find it is not worth all of the incompatibility problems resulting from using it for their websites, especially when it isn't necessary. Like most Microsoft products, it is very unstable. |
| Server Side Includes (SSI) |
| SSI is included in all of our hosting plans. Server Side Includes are a group of functions that can be included directly in your HTML code so that a server can include variable values in the HTML file before it sends it to the requestor. SSI commands allow you to perform functions not available through HTML. For example, with SSI you can embed into the heading of every web page, the current date and time. Our servers are SSI ready and capable. |
| Personal CGI Directory |
| A CGI (common gateway interface) directory is a directory in your disk space area where you can place CGI scripts for execution on your website. CGI scripts allow you to run small programs on the server that can provide your website with interactivity and impressive functionality. For example, if a visitor submits a form from your website, you can call a mail form handling CGI script to take that visitor's information, format it, send you an email, and send the visitor a thank you page. Our servers are CGI ready and capable. Our servers are configured to run cgi and perl scripts from any directory. CGI is optional and available for a reasonable fee. We write custom cgi/perl programs for our customers for a reasonable fee. |
